Though the effort appears to have a few issues right out of the gate, if nothing else, you’ve got to admire Rupert Murdoch’s tenacity — he’s locking down mobile access to another of his newspapers and demanding a gate fee for access. To date, the least expensive 7-inch Samsung tablet costs $250 plus a two-year 3G wireless contract that obligates you to pay $2,000-plus when all’s said and done.
